MY STORY

It all started with this guy, here on the left. This is Kevin, he is my very best friend and the whole reason I started working with dogs.

I've always loved dogs, starting with my Grandma's German Shepherds, Zak and Max. They began a 21-year-long journey of me begging my parents for a dog, they finally caved and we got Kevin.

I was plunged into a world of everything dog and by far my favourite part was training. At the time I lived in a very busy household, so teaching Kevin to cope with that kind of life as well as basic life skills was a top priority.

To learn more, I volunteered as a puppy school assistant where I was quickly adopted by two amazing mentors, Louise and Neal Otter from Surrey and South London Dog Training. With weekends full of classes, they have taught me so much- the most important being dog body language because that's how they communicate! One of my favourite things is the moment they realise I 'speak' dog, you can see them visibly relax and it's a great feeling.

Now, I am a fully qualified Puppy School tutor with 3+ years of experience working with all kinds of dogs. They bring me so much joy and it's why I've decided to go into dog training, walking and sitting. To make the dogs as happy as they make me.

I know I'm not alone when I say I love my dog more than life itself and the thought of leaving him for a night let alone a week is gut-wrenching. That is why it is my mission to provide a level of reassurance you can't beat, to both you and your dog. With me, your four-legged family member will experience the same safety, happiness and love as if you were at home yourself. They will be treated as if they were my own dog, and for those of you who know Kevin, that is spoilt rotten!

QUALIFICATIONS

I have nearly 4 years experience working with dogs of all shapes, breeds, sizes and ages. In 2021/2022 I completed my Puppy School Tutor Training under the supervision of Gwen Bailey, one of the UK's most respected dog behaviourists.

During this course and throughout my years assisting with Surrey and South London Dog Training School, I have learnt about basic obedience including recall and loose lead walking but more importantly I have learnt the way in which dogs communicate with us and each other. This helps me to understand how your dog is feeling and support them accordingly which builds trust and confidence. Most recently I became a fully qualified trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and a member of the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter.

I am fully insured and trained in canine first aid so your pup is in safe hands with me.
